Yep. I'm no where near 400 let alone 500. Closer to 325-350ish.

Just filled up after a very typical winter time tank and got 335Kms from 53.7L. Repeat (at least)weekly.

Turns out he was the most chill cop ever. Went like this lol,*Him: "any reason why you speed off like that at the lights" Me: "nope, just gonna be heading to work right away" him: "were you work?" and I said "for city transit fleet services" him: "oh okay, well the roads are getting slick and I know you have a cool car and all but just slow down, dont want anything bad happening on christmas, have a merry Christmas " I was like "you to! Sorry!"*

And then he left in his charger police car(sweet lookin cars) haha first pull over in the Audi and no ticket nadda haha and first cop I ever got that wasnt a tool

Try to baby a full tank. I have a tendency of using cruise control a lot to cause its a lot more steady then your foot obviously haha

Can't really use cruise control as all my driving is literally stop and go, city driving. That probably explains my shitty mileage. Having said that, I just got back from a trip to Vernon/Kelowna for christmas and averaged 10.8L/100 km's. Not too bad on the highway I guess!

I use my cruise control in the city which is also stop and go on the way to work and back. And I average almost what you average on the highway =P. just use it whenever as much as you can. Doesn't hurt to try haha

haha ya thats the problem right there. I dont think i've used cruise control in the last 7 or 8 years of driving.

Cruise control is good if you are on even pavement but to be honest you can compensate more efficiently on hills. The cruise control PID controller has no way of predicting the future road conditions (very well) so it has to over compensate after the fact once you start slowing down halfway up the hill. If you slowly increase your throttle response at the bottom of a hill you will actually save fuel over cruise control...
