At first my block was black and blue.

    Now it's silver!

Also took a little drive down old Banff coach road. Stopped and took a picture. Watch out the roads are sheet ice from the snow blowing. Also the cops have been on the road, seen them two days in a row sitting on there. Only once did I see them first.....

Block is back in my possession. Fitting rings and bottom end assembly next weekend. Maybe more.....

I can't wait either George!!! I got a shameful maybe 2 months of driving in it last year I think. This year cannot come soon enough.

Block is in the process of being bored and honed. Should have it back for the weekend to gap the rings and get the block together. At least the bottom end anyways....

Thanks again everyone. I can't wait. It keeps getting closer and closer and I just am getting more and more excited to be back in the car driving a manual again.

Block is at the machinist right now.....

Yeah they are. Looked like a good deal at the time...... Exchange is rough on the bunghole.

Look forward to seeing it all buttoned up. Bold move on the wheel choice. God I must be boring as I would never have the guts to go with a design like that but its choices like the one you made that makes the difference between a nicely modded car and a show stopper!!!! Good on you!
