Got bored tonight so I went out and tried to get used to the camera in manual mode as it seems to take alot better pictures then automatic. Figures out that lighting is key.. Any one have tips?




And then tried some light painting...

True, Dead Mans Flats.
Stopped at Husky in Calgary when I left, bought ice for my cooler, gum and coffee, but knew I was forgetting something.... then just after passing the last chance petrocan my light came on.

It's kind of cool how you can see the image build on screen, with compositing multiple exposures on the camera as it happens, rather than a long exposure where you are staring at a black screen and hoping you get the shot you want.
