Re: heheheee yeeaaahh r32
The tires that are on the car now have tons of traction for the power the car puts down. They are a soft, grippy/sticky tire and I'm very happy with them. You may not think there's any traction cause of the size blah blah yadda yadda, but there is WAY more then you guys think. If you have the right tire, there's nothing to worry about

Re: heheheee yeeaaahh r32
Well, you'll definitely get better milage with 8" tires over something fatter… and if the traction isn't enough for how YOU drive, then you can buy something else and use the reps for a spring/fall or a winter set

Re: heheheee yeeaaahh r32
I think what they're trying to say is that they don't think am 8" wide wheel is enough to put down the power effectively, which I agree with. Ask me how I know haha. I was going to put at least a 9.5 on it.

What for? I know what the car is capable of. I'm not gonna waste it, constantly drive it hard and break it.Originally posted by danaldson View Postits a 400+ horsepower volkswagen golf. You are driving it hard lol.

Re: heheheee yeeaaahh r32
thats how i bought the car and tires are a page back, get sticky and plenty of traction once warm.Originally posted by MechEngg View PostYou should match the fender markers and side repeaters, choose one, not one of each.
Also narrow wheels for that power, what rubber did you put on it? size/brand
18x8 is good enough. no need to go wide
