    I support this.

Lets assume positive intent on the original "are you sure 8s are wide enough?" post, maybe they thought he wasnt used to a car this powerful and genuinely wanted to throw some experience and concern at him. Boom, his car, his choices, everyone KNOWS its a beauty so lets all just party forever.
    I like to party

That was where my concern came from. Looks great, but personally, I would have done 9's, just sayin.

EDIT: I haven't used/experienced those tires so I was just going off previous.
That was also brand new winter rubber you were driving on, not a sticky summer tire that will put down some power.

This. When I had the 215's it would spin but not a lot. The car is AWD, lets not forget that...

As for the rest of what Dom has done, he's changed the car and made it his. 8" wheels with the proper tires will be fine; Cam runs 8" CH's as his summers, I ran 8.5's with 215's on them and neither of us had issues with traction.

You all might not be the biggest fans but at the end of the day the car is still gorgeous and it is HIS. So unless there is something constructive to come from what you have to say then maybe everyone should just lay off. Christ, even Sean was more constructive than 90% of you, thats saying something.

+1... Couldn't have said it any better.

and a valid concern it was! I 100% agree, i would have done at LEAST a 9 all around. if the driver is comfortable and confident, then its allllllllll good

it was the fact of saying "constantly" drive it hard, and break it. Just the wrong mentality to have IMO - after all, just an opinion.
You're very correct, it is HIS car, there for he can do what he wants with it. I personally enjoy my car, I'd rather not "constantly drive it hard and break it". But I mean hey, if you have the paper to waste, may as well break & fix all day, every day. Just not my cup of tea, that's all! This isn't VWvortex, no need for arguments lol.
