Thanks everyone! Its sure been a really fun journey.
Now... if anyone knows where a mk3s speedo sensor is, that'd be much appreciated.. ive been looking on and off for about 3 weeks now haha...

Anyways, I had a relaxing winter break, car just sat at the shop, got back today and finished up my full engine bay detail. Let me know what you think!

EDIT: Found an old pic of my bay before i started work... Gross!

Also did your car come with a cabin air filter or did you DIY that? Never seen one with OEM cabin air filter.

DIY, the mk4 cabin air filter housing bolts in with absolutely zero modification at all, bolt holes/studs (dont remember which) are even in the rain tray already!

I like to retrofit things haha, just testing to see if things fit or not. If you notice from the original engine bay pics i also swapped out my coolant, powersteering caps and dip stick for OBD1 parts. My chrome oil cap is actually a gas cap from a 60s-70s Mercedes lol.

Excuse the dirty interior, thats last to do on my to-do list :P
But today was a success can confirm: Mk7 pedals will fit a Mk3/Mk4! Took a bit of trimming but I hereby claim to be the first person to retrofit Mk7 pedals on.

The dead pedal in the pics was just kinda mocked up at the time of the pictures, it has since been straightened out and permanently attached to the carpet. Im pretty pumped about these, i think they suit the look of my car perfectly.

I put a cabin filter in my mk3 too. Was an easy bolt on for sure. I got mine here, years ago.

So.. havnt been up to much lately. Trying to figure out why my rear brakes wont engage properly.... ive bled the entire system through multiple times.
But i did get an MSD ignition system, and ive been playing around with that lately. Ran into a snag today with the ignition wires, having troubles finding a way to run them so that they look good... the coilpacks themselves look awesome! Heres some pics from my friends fancy camera.
