  • Non bacon car

Figure I would make a thread for the r32 replacement.

    It's a 2008 Audi a4 S-line. Quattro with a proper transmission. 75000 kms on the clock.

While looking for a replacement for the r32, I was going to look at and test drive a 500 abarth at the fiat dealer, and being a little bummed out that I didn't really fit that great. I took a look at their used inventory and the a4 was the first car to pop up. I drove the a4 and loved it. It had all the options I wanted, was sline and manual, and really low kms. My girlfriends mom was able to get me an absolutely killer discount on the car as she works there, so it was too hard to pass up.

The car has been great to drive so far. The little k03 is a lot of fun, and the gas milage is great, got about 650 to my first tank. So that feels really good coming from the 350-400 per tank r32. I will really miss the r32's sound and extreme rarity, but this is definitely a good replacement. I'm very excited to begin modding this. I will try to stay away from the bacon this time around.

    Some of you remember this

A few of us tried to install them friday night, but the upper controll arm bolt in the rear was a pain in the a$$ so we gave up for the night. well see if i can find a time to get them in.

Ah the joys of suspension swaps lol.

I wasn't being fully serious, I'd have no judgement or problem running stock all winter.

Yeah the rears are the tough part. I did my fronts Friday night and my rears during the day Saturday when I did mine. Make sure you jack up and compress the rear suspension when you disassemble it or you will **** the bolt that you're talking about (I think). It's a weird looking bolt and Dylan and I managed to strip one when we did my coils lol.
