Re: Bob's Briefs! Have a Peek.

The 5cyl guys have been into the LS2 coils for a while now. I think Marc Swanson of EFI Express pioneered their use.

Some people swear by them and others find they're not the cure all.

Good price for sure. And I like that any NAPA or similar store will have spares on hand.

Lots of people, myself included, have found the 2.0t coils work great as an upgrade/replacement; for both cost and performance.

I did look at the doing the 2.0t packs but when test fitting one from my S4 there really was no way to make a bracket to hold them in that would clear my strut bar. I did get the idea of the LS2 packs from EFI express but they use the standard LS2 packs. But in looking at the specs the LS2 truck packs have three times the power of the standard LS2 packs and have a built in aluminum heat sink. The truck packs are more expensive new but they are everywhere. I got 8 for 40 bucks at the local "Yank and Tug".

Thanks George but its not clean at all. Two complete Separate ECU systems (stock and Megasquirt) makes the bay look like a rats nest.

A little Ol'Skewl Kustom Kulture on a rainy Sunday morning. Did a little bit of striping on my Gator-Kat Tele.
