A very cool watch indeed, does look very automotive and a 50 day power reserve is awesome, but yes the price of a Ferrari as well....

I know this is sooo 2011, but I'm currently rocking this:

Well I would think it has nearly been a year since I have put this guy on, but I cracked my rubber strap on my B&R again and I am waiting on a replacement to arrive so decided to give it a go, and personally I still think it is an amazing watch, one of my all time favs for sure. I am not sure if you can order in Canada but B&R has an e-boutique that you can order watches and straps from very easily over here so that is good. I think I paid about $120 for my last rubber strap at Calgary Jewelers, but from B&R it was £59.00 shipped, which is about $90-95 Cdn.

Have been significantly stepping up my watch game lately..two most notable additions:

              Omega speedy

Tudor black bay (which I'll have next week..no AD's in canada so having the folks pick it up while they're in europe)

Nice scores James! I think Tudor is back in the US now or soon, but not sure on Canada.

I believe Tudors have always been available in Canada. They are available at Brinkhaus here in Calgary. You're correct that they have just re-entered the US market recently.

Heres my vintage Tudor Submariner circa '65 or '66 that my father gave me which he has owned since new. Also recently picked up a Rolex Submariner.

Nice pickups, I am jealous of the Rolex Gerald, still wanting one but with nearly a year now without a paycheque it will still be a while before I can make a large purchase.

Here is some GMT info to help with using multi-timezone pieces. http://www.larrybiggs.net/mirror/gmt/gmt24.htm

I got my new strap from B&R ended up coming overnight from France via Fedex, a week after placing the order, no charges or anything. They included the strap in a nice velvety pouch, a lanyard and some paper work for receipts and returns, a nice setup for a fairly cheap order and I would definitely buy direct again from them, now I will find the time to switch out the straps myself.

Those cost close to 50K do they not??

For the rotary fans a Wankel style watch, but this one will run you $180K and only 12 being made.

Not really an aficionado but I was looking for a cheap 20 atm watch to go on vacation with (I loose watches like I loose hair) and was wondering about some suggestions? My current thought is to go with the Casio MDV-160.
