Nooooo. Found 2 very small dents on the hood of the C30!! Does anyone know the approximate cost to get something like that repaired at a PDR shop? The dents aren't deep and are about a half inch by a half inch.

Was door dings, not hail, but I had pdr done a few years ago on my Passat and was quite surprised with the result. I'm sure things can go wrong, but I was pretty happy.

    Re: Hail

its possible to have cracked paint afterwards but usually thats from a poor repair. a proper pdr repair will leave no cracks in the paint and the repair is permanent. the dent is massaged out, not popped. if it was a useless process, why would the insurance pay out millions for pdr repairs. if you guys have any questions about pdr, shoot me a pm and ill do me best to answer as i am a pdr tech. cheers

My Mom has damage to two vehicles and was told it could be a month before any even comes out to look at the cars.

For the Fiat my sunroof was defective and needed track replacement.

I still haven't received any updates on when my evaluation should be happening but I can already tell the roof will need to be painted as some areas were hit hard enough to crack the paint

^^ don't let them F with you man.. when they pop certain spots it leaves hair cracks only for it to rust bubble in a year leaving you screwed

talk to the shop doing the work and have them mark EVERY spot with tape and inspect it with a magnifying glass afterwards and then off to a body shop to have it sanded/painted/blended

My audi goes in on Wednesday for its insurance evaluation. Anyone have personal experience with paintless dent repair? I have been told that you can end up with cracked paint a few years down the road.

Well apparently my Fiat is still at Eastside and has some damage to it, not sure how much not horrible but any is a major pain. Seems I am cursed to not be able to get rid of that car!!

I did just send in a very long rant to Chrysler Canada about my nearly 2 month long repair........
