You can get well over 110km/h on the world cup pitch at lake louise, that's the best spot to go fast. Have never been able to beat 120 km/h on there though.
according to "ski tracks" the 2 fastest places for me have been bottom of mens downhill at louise (119km/hr) as well and bottom of bye bye bowl (126.7 km/hr) at shine in the morning before the sun gets on it and its still icy and fast.
The goal for this year is to break 130 ahahh i think its possible if the conditions are right and the skis are tuned for it

only run was upper/middle map maker. had to upload to the Gold chair, still fun though!
hitting over 100 was pretty crazy with that many people and so many newbies sitting under rollers, i thought someone was going to be decapitated
Hey fellas...I gots an idea...If a few guys are interested, later on in the season, I could probably arrange a day for us at Nakiska...I'd try to get free lift passes...discounted at the very least...let me know what you think...I'll start a new thread if necessary.
that would be alot of fun car cruise/ski day, i am in!
also i went to nakiska today, had a blast! so much funds to get back on the sticks. it was crowded but still alot of fun. went 104 km/hr on the first run of the day and wasnt able to beat that haha. lots of fun rollers and little side jumps as well!
Ok. January will probably work best...I'll keep reminding...then start a thread when the time comes.
My "current" three boards: 2000 Nitro Team, 2005 Jussi and 2008 Custom X. The bindings are Burton P1s and I have an old pair of Burton CFXs in the closet. The OG comments made me laugh, the first board I ever road was some wacky old burton air and the first board I owned was a Noah Salasnek pro model.

Sweet setups guys! I don't care whether you ski or board we should all try to get out together at least once. I'm excited more than ever to get out this season and ride with new people and try different terrain, i'm down in Lethbridge this year but if you guys ever come down to Castle or Fernie let me know, i will do the opposite when I come back to Calgary to ride at Sunshine or Lake Louise. Anyway, back to the topic...... Last season I picked up my beautiful baby, a Cap!ta Indoor Surivial 157 with Union "Source" Force bindings and I have never been happier with any of my previous setups. The flat ride that this board has suits everything I use it for, groomers it has edge hold, powder (it's a noodle) so it has float and is nimble enough with edge to edge turning to be good when I wanna hit the park.
Head Jon 94's 186's. I love those things got them for $300 with bindings new.
Got a pair of Rossi Classic 86 Ti's for laying down groomer laps.
Some old Nordica Beast TT's with fritschis for touring.
Then some older Line Skogen Sprang pro's for the park.
Got Full Tilt Hot Doggers, minus the stupid shoe lace thing. Then for touring I have Scarpa tornado's.
Gloves I have a pair of Oakley pipe gloves for warm days and cold days I rock a pair of Burton AK tech gloves.
I hate ski clothing and wear almost only snowboarding gear. Bonfire and AG.
