    Re: Fast and Furious Six

The first one still stands out as the best as it was so different from any movies of its time. Tokyo drift is also one of my favorites as it was really well written although it could stand on its own as a movie outside the FnF franchise. Fast 5 was one of my favorites by far as I think they finally got the formula for action vs car scenes down without everyone yelling ricer street racing movie.

I personally just dislike how it went from true, underground street racing (or should I say, believable underground street racing) aka the Original Fast and the Furious, to jumping bridges, and running from the Rock...

I agree that I like Han's character in the movie, and in my opinion he was the only one who was a good actor and made the movie bearable to watch. This is probably why they casted him in the later movies as well (which I think is great). If they used any of the other toolbags from tokyo drift, it would just ruin everything.

I love Tokyo Drift (watched it yesterday in fact) I like the Han character a lot and perhaps since I enjoy Japan quite a bit it always reminds me of going over there. Personally 2Fast 2Furious is the worst in my opinion.

I read the same thing a few months ago. they are going for the whole "The Italian Job" feel of the movies and less focus on the actual internals of the cars and the NOS. Apparently they filmed FnF 7 at the same time which should be released about a year after this one. Yes the movies may be a bit cheesy, but as car guys thats why we love them. I think we can all agree that with the epic one liners pulled in these movies, the FnF series is one of the best comedies around, which was never meant to be a comedy.

I always enjoyed watching them, not the greatest of movies but they are entertaining and thats all I really care about.

i believe that car was in the 4th movie wasnt it?

i agree that they are silly movies, but they are entertaining at least. and some of the cars they use are pretty cool. Like the late model GMC trucks they use to take down the tanker in the 4th movie. and the truggie they use in the 5th movie to pull the cars off the train. would love to have one of those.

excellent idea. I don't know if anyone else agrees with me, but the FIRST, ORIGINAL Fast & The Furious takes the cake. None of the others can even touch it. I think the only Euro product that's been in the movie was 2 fast 2 furious when that goof-ball had the orange E39 M5 - would LOVE to see some Euro love.

I spotted them filming around London late in the summer and even spotted Han (Sung Kang) shopping at Harrods one day as well. Personally I think they actually keep getting better and better and I cannot wait for this next installment, just a fun action movie with a load of interesting cars and chases, I cannot wait for the next one!!

Lol, they really are stupid, but even so. I agree, ED meet for this would be fun.

May 24th it comes out. We could set it up for that day or opening weekend sometime.
