i think you meant "less talk more rock" haha but yeah that's an okay album. doesn't really compare to the 2 newest ones though.

i'm into metal. i don't own a cd player but still have the wax collection and a player for them too. since it doesn't fit in my pocket though, the mp3 player includes new and old Maiden (a matter of life and death is the new one.) Motorhead, Cradle of Filth, Kreator, Priest, 69 eyes.

i've also been listening to a band called Angra, from brasil, Kamelot, and for a break, i still gotta hear some ramones. less rock, more talk was the last propagandi i listened too. gonna check that new one out. i forgot who posted the "against the grain" cover but, nice. "suffer" and "no control" were my favs.

i would say that our mercury is not quite the same style as moneen or choke... more of a melodic rock as opposed to chaotic punkish... but very good. check them out for sure. as an example, i have showed metal friends Our Mercury and they have liked them.. and then my girlfriend who is into Jack Johnson and Death Cab likes them alot too..

check out the new propagandhi, if you havent listened to them in a long time then you will be very surprised at how different they sound. and its still the same singer, but you wouldnt think so.

Thats a fair variety there but I will check out Our Mercury as I have always enjoyed Choke and Moneen too!

and for you punkers - the new Propagandhi (Potemkin City Limits) is amazing. the first couple times i heard it i was sort of sketchy on it... but if you warm up to it, it'll be the best cd in your collection!

i've been listening to Dark Tranquillity, and the new(er) Unearth. Also the new Darkest Hour.

Now for something non-metal related, a few months back there was this band called "Our Mercury" who opened at the Moneen/Choke show in Calgary... they were RAD. I picked up the CD and have listened to it probably 20 times. Really catchy and original. And don't worry it's not anything close to metal, my girlfriend likes it!

do yourself and favor and check them out you wont be disappointed.

I've also been listening to alot of Heart lately.

Its All Gone Pete Tong Soundtrack been rocking in the Ipod for the last few weeks. some of the best music i have heard in a while. Some chill stuff, some techno stuff. Definetly a good soundtrack from a GREAT movie.

Yeah what is the verdict on that new Killers cd? Heard some extremely mixed reviews
Edit: Ive been listening to alot of Postal Service and Death Cab, I know they arent new CD's but still love their stuff.

been listening to the new killers cd for the past few days..

They were on SNL last week......worst.....singer......ever.

Went flat so many times I lost count then held one for 30seconds *shudder*

Too bad because I actually like the band.
