Well after a month of Euro tunes and crazy Arabic music I am back to hear some regular stuff.

I picked up a few electronica CDs in London so rocking those at the moment and also got the new Billy Talent which is not bad.

Anyone going to Tool or Vans Warped?

Anyone check out the new Pearl Jam yet? I haven't listened to them in years but they seem to be getting a fair bit of hype.

Sounds like it was an awesome show Blair! Hey, I really like DCFC and I'm neither a 15 year old girl, or a parent

Lately i've been listening to a mix of stuff... The Frays, Richard Butler, Mat Kearney, Taking Back Sunday, Paramore (still liking their CD), and Nine Black Alps for the most part. I gave a listen to the Streets cd also but wasn't really able to get into it.

Went to the Cribs, Death Cab and Franz Ferdinand show last night was very impressed. The Cribs were straight up English rock complete with cigarette smoking while playing, very enjoyable. Death Cab was second up and I am not really that familiar with them, but I have to say they did put on a good show and musically they sounded really good. I am not really sure why so many 15 year old girls love them as it sounds like something my parents might enjoy but I was entertained.

The Arch Dukes were the final act (apparently they alternate each show) and they were really good, straigh up rock and roll with a bit of showmanship and the four guys drumming at the end was very cool. Overall a very enjoyable show and I have to say I like the Corral as a venue for these smaller shows!

Definitely better than Lateralus... doesn't even come close to Undertow or AEnima. Tho the drumming on this one is absolutely SICK.
