    Re: Music Time!

Ok, so I'm back from my 3000km trek and have listened to a few albums a couple times through

First off, a huge thanks to Mike for letting me sample some stuff, I know I wouldn't have stayed awake without all that new music.

Queens of a stone age - Self titled
Queens of a stone age - Songs for the Deaf
Rival Schools - United by Fate
Mars Volta - Deloused in the Comatorium
Perfect Circle - Mer de mons

    Also:
Foo Fighters - In your honour
    Tiesto - Parade of Athletes
Mars Volta - Frances the Mute
    K-OS - Perfect Rebellion (? can't remember the name)

I liked them all but out of all of them I think I gotta say that Perfect Circle was my favorite out of all of them, I def listened to that one the most whenever I'd get sleepy i'd rock out to that one. I also really like the Queens of a stone age - self titled one too. And Deloused is def easier to listen to than the new one. I like the new Foo Fighters too, personally, it would have been nice if they would have changed up their sound a little but it's also nice that they didn't "reinvent" themselves like so many bands do. I'm not really feeling the acoustic album though, but I didn't really give it much of a chance, I wanted LOUD when I was driving.

Only problem with these groups is I like the music but some of the lyrics are a bit disturbing.

Ya, its on Oink if you search for Rival Schools, if you have a membership I can keep it seeded...the worlds fastest car stuff is packed with both Quicksand albums and one rival schools, but its only a 300mb dl..so worth it for those that dont have the quicksand/rival schools albums and it was worth it to me just for the worlds fastest car :P

Rival Schools has a couple of compliation discs if I remember correctly, one is called United by One Line Drawing (obviously with one line drawing on the disc haha) and there have another one but I cant remember the name of the top of my head. Walking Concert is Teh Sux compared to rival schools tho
