And yea, if you don't mind that would be sweet, I'm probably only going to be able to buy 1 maybe 2 CD's so maybe I'll get a couple albums from you and if I like 'em i'll buy em when I get back.

Cool. I should be home around 4, so I will burn a bunch of stuff for ya.

haha I've been downloading alot of sloan (discography)..so Id suggest

    Sloan - A Sides Win
Rival Schools - United by Fate (HMV will proally have this)
    Alexisonfire - Watch Out!
Sunny Day Real Estate - Diary (HMV maybe, not futurehop)

Dont even listen to the older mars volta album; just buy it, you'll be happy..Espically if you've got a long drive and can listen to it cover to cover!

edit: If you're grabbing stuff of Mike, He probably has everything I listed above

    Re: Music Time!

Ok guys, lay it on me. I gotta go to HMV or Futureshop after work to pick up a couple new cd's. I have a 15 hour drive (one way) to do tomorrow and I need some new music to keep me awake.

So far I have the new foo fighters, my wife bought it for me yesterday (Blair I'm not sure I feel the same way as you do but haven't listened to it too much yet), and Mike mentioned the older Mars Volta CD. I'd like to get maybe 4 more suggestions so I can sample some music today. Something along the lines of heavy but not death metal and not punk or emo or anything like that. Throwing a clip to my gmail account might be cool too! Thanks in advance guys!

Well picked up the new Coldplay and new Finch this week both pretty good still want to go through them a few more times. I have listened to a fair bit of the new Foo Fighters and I find it boring, uninspired and pretty much the same stuff all over again.

For some other stuff I have been checking out The Dead 60s, Plain White Ts and Moving Units. I am also a big fan of the new Esthero track "We R In Need of a Musical Revolution" which expresses a nice point of view:

"I am so sick and tired of the sh*t on the radio
MTV they only play the same thing
No matter where I go I see Ashanti in the video
    I want something more...."
