You know... some people need to be taught a lesson. I'm sure she's been getting away with this kind of "sh*t" for years and... because nobody did anything... she continues to get away with it. So... kudos to you lulu for sticking up for yourself and making sure that she "faces the music" for once. Good job!

The most likely case will be that you will need to put it through insurance and pay the deductable, then if she gets charged and is convicted you file suit against her (Her parents due to age). Now because there is a conviction it will likely be a no contest case and her parents will likely settle because they will lose anyways. I would request double the deductible because of hassle and possible insurance cost increase. If you don't have a policy that covers something like this you are best to wait on a conviction and then sue.

The second case is if there is no conviction you can still sue for damages in small claims, but because the burden of proof is not as tight as in a criminal proceeding you could have one or two of her friends testify that she confessed to them that she keyed your car and explain the story and that should be enough for you to win in small claims.

you will have to take her to small claims court to get anything out of her. that is unless her folks pay up, which i doubt will happen. it doesn't matter if she is charged, your car won't get fixed by hers or her folks insurance company either. their car never touched yours. so it becomes a he said/she said battle. it sucks. ask me how i know.

some ***** hoped out of the passenger side of a car she was in, to punch my wifes window, and kick the hood, damaging it, and the 3M. gave the plate to the cops, called 911 when it was happening. they were caught. although i had the option of charging her, they said getting anything out of her would just be a headache for me, and the only thing it would do, would be a hassle for her. like she cared. she was a deadbeat.

i moved on, fixed my own car. date older women. sorry, but i have no feelings towards teenagers with nice cars at parties. thanks for not drinking and driving though.

Forgot to mention good on you for holding your ground on not driving while loaded. I know many who would not have made such a wise choice with a female in the picture. What she has to understand is that by making the wise choice you did could easily have saved her life or a disability. If anything she should be thanking you for being so wise and knowing your limit.
Let the police deal with her and maybe she will grow up and learn that you were acting in her best interest

im a firm believer that u NEVER F with a persons car, EVER!!! u have an issue with me, u take it up with me but NEVER EVER my car! that is grounds for burial in my opinion!
