To bad I didn't read this earlier, I have the UM program already loaded onto my laptop (I sent it to Shawn) all you would have needed was the cable. Let me know if you need help with this as I have already done the ECU and DSG tunes.

I had emailed Shawn a while back, and he just got back to me today ironically. Said something about my email going into his junk filter. Anyways, he said there is a group flash going on this weekend in Calgary so I assumed it was you guys.
The only reason I didnt bother, I thought it was only specifically for the r's.

I just called Shawn and it's not too late, as long as you can get him the information ASAP.

If your having a hard time deciding on which launch program to get, let me reassure you that the 5500-ish RPM is awesome. 3000 RPM was a waste of time by VW.

you cant rev to redline on your own? i guess you have to turn off esp then it will let you or still no?

Yeah so you have to disable ESP to enable LC.

Stock LC is limited to 3000 rpm. The UM tune lets you choose between 4400 rpm or 5400 rpm.

Yah mine is dsg, but you can also get LC for the Mk4 even though it is manual.
