      Re: What tires to buy???

There's been too many freak July snowfalls to make me comfortable buying a pure summer tire - so I just have ultra high perf all seasons for summer. But maybe next set I'll go pure summer... At least I get to keep the rims on until november.

Could I be Mr. Sensible and say "what do you want them to do?"

                Look good
                Ride smoothly
                Sharp response
                Last a long time
Grip like a mofo in the dry
Grip like a mofo in the wet
                Both
                Be cheap
                Have a good name
Have a huge load capacity for your trunk-full-o-audio

You know what I am saying..but the kumhos 712s really arent a bad compromise of the above, but you may even consider the 711s if performance isn't everything. In reality you probably loose 1-2kms/hr on a cloverleaf going from 1 to the other. I do like the 501s too and would consider those, the others I have not had a direct experience of so I can't comment.

...now back to the school girl fun!

                  Another vote for MyTires.....

But I have ordered from 1010, it was really nice. But Anand is local, a good guy, and will always help you out if you have issues with your tires.
