That's more like it hey - any pics of the IM side? Should be five nozzle holes over there... or so I've been told

    Good news!

Heard from Hank, and looks like after one longstanding 07k build is cleared up by Friday, my stroker is his sole priority so as to make room for a couple TTRS builds. Word is my motor should be ready to ship next weekend.

    Custom head gasket is done.

As of right now, there are a couple minor issues to solve. One of which is the water manifold I supplied interferes with Hank's old personal intake. So he's modified a 3B manifold to do the job.

As mentioned, I bought Hank's old manifolds. I had him tap the intake for direct port w/m injection, which has been finished.

Had a 7A valve cover tapped with AN fittings for lines to the catch can, and machined to accept 2.0t coils.

Oil pan has had a baffle welded in to supplement the AAN windage tray.

Aside from that the TiAl flange on the EM has to be modded to fit the smaller EFR flange, and some other odds and ends.

Yessir. Went with the AAT block instead of the original eurovan bottom end I'd purchased. The old 10v block didn't have oil squirters, among other things, and my builder said 600hp/tq was a ceiling for the cast material in the older style blocks. So I picked up a prepped TDI block for less than the cost to machine the old one, and presto! Spare bottom end.

Got an encouraging email from Hank today.

On the bottom shows the respective balance after adding Malory to get it zero balanced as an assembly. It costs ~250$ extra to add the mallory, but the only way to properly zero balance these 92.8. I had 2 other 92.8 motors done at the same time as yours, and they all needed just abut the same weight in 160mm/AAT configs. The block is line bored to .0026" which I feel is a great clearance for your application and slightly larger turbo in the future if needs be. The motor will come with full documentation like you see in pictures.

Thanks Pat, it was a bit of work. But I wanted it properly prepped for welding and paint. Took about 3 hours to do the prep and welding on one side... well worth it.

Good god, I don't know. I've almost considered taking the UrS over xmas and doing a motor swap and saying I got the AAN out of a junkyard... seems to be continually delayed for one reason or another. Considering it was December '13 when I sent the motor down and was given a late spring return date.
