    Re: Watch Aficionados?

They tend to do a few special edition colours each year with 500 each in the BR01-92 and 94, 2007 was the phantom and blue and 2008 was yellow and red.

I actually went into Calgary Jewelers today and they have a blue and yellow in the 94 still, I did not check today but I think the last time I asked the price was around 7,850 for each.

I have the 01-94 Phantom, The family went in on it together as a gift. They bought it in New York, but won't tell me what they paid for it........

I had a blue and a phantom and a white all to choose from when I picked mine but there was still a large price jump and the store would not move at all on the phantom, a little on the blue (was very close to getting it) and a lot on the white. Those were all 94 (chronos) though and I think getting a good price in Asia the phantom was over 7,000.
Thanks for the info, I am a bit of a noob, do they release them every year?

Does any one know how hard/expensive it is to get the Bell & Ross BR 01-92 Phantom. On their site it says that they are limited to 500 pieces. I want one, but I am afraid that if I find one I might end up spending way more then I can afford/justify on a watch.

one day my friend.........I'll convince the wife to let us trade one of the kids for one of those "cheap" watches. (I'm thinking a 4 year old is at least $75k)

Loving this new 2009 Panerai model; Luminor 1950 3 Days GMT Power Reserve Auto 44mm. Too bad suggested retail seems to be near 6,000 Euros

That Zodiac is very retro looking, I do like the second one, but I am a fan of the square watches

Was checking out the Panerai Ferrari's at Birks downtown again last week, but would just prefer a regular one. I am going to LA in May so was thinking of going by the Panerai boutique but that might not be a good idea

We are getting closer to Basel World so should start to see some fresh designs coming out soon.

I'm still searching for a "daily driver" watch since my tastes are too expensive for my wallet!

Saw this beauty today, not usually my style but there is something about it?

I got the black with lime green numbers. It's funky as hell and I love it. The gun metal with red is very nice too and that would have been my second choice.

    Slick Japanese watch!

This one popped up this morning, insane would be to put it lightly. Apparently it can defy logic …
