Watches here are just ridiculous, you can find anything, I was on Bond Street last week and the pieces in the windows there are mind blowing and probably require a mortgage to afford. The nice thing is most of the normal level stores put prices on everything so you can actually see how much a watch is without asking. I am still wanting a Rolex Milgauss, there is even a shop in the mall that has two in the window currently, maybe a grad present next year.
I did see a Bamford x Dr. Romanelli Beetle Baily modded Rolex Submariner last week in person, pretty cool.
Calgary Jewelers had one of those in stock for a while, you may want to see how much they want for it if they still have it that is, as I can't imagine Paris is the cheapest place to buy a watch. KL is a great place for watching shopping, selection like you can't imagine and prices that are way cheaper than anywhere else and you can afford to take the holiday there for the savings, probably why my wife has not suggested we go back.
I personally love the look of most Richard Mille's saw a few actually being worn when I was in Asia and even saw a dedicated boutique in KL, complete with a guard carrying an M16. I would love to have one but need 5 figures to get into anything at that boutique.
It's watch show season some ones that I really like:
Full Ceramic Panerai PAM 438 Tuttonero GMT (Est $11,450 US)
Carbon Fiber Phantom Bell & Ross
And this crazy thing, Richard Mille RM056 Split Seconds Chrono; Tourbillion movement, very light and totally see through with complete sapphire case, only 5 being made at $1.65 million each!!
I have been drooling over the watches in this thread for a while now... I finally have something worthy of posting on this thread as I treated myself to a birthday/early Christmas present.
Just came across this thread and love it. I don't own anything too extravagant but some pretty unique pieces. I'm really liking automatics and anything large and unique. Just picked up an Invicta Revolution and love it. Looking at maybe one of their Coalition watches next.
