Yeah, there was always hope though. I won't cheer for Colo-Colo in any way, Universidad de Chile is waaaay better.

It would be like cheering for the Oilers

I knew Chile wouldn't get passed Brazil, but they just played awful today

On a side note, a club team from Chile called Colo Colo beat a Brazilian club team called Vitoria on sunday here in Edmonton

Oh well, Chile is out...Now to cheer for the rest of the "diving" countries. Incredible that all of the countries from South America made it to the round of 16.

Agreed!! I am so sick of seeing guys like Lucio, Messi, Tevez, DeSantos, etc.... going down like there's a sniper in the stadium.

If by Oranje you mean the dutch, I agree that would be a great game. However its gonna be a very tough match for them next round if they have to play Brazil. I'm stoked to see tomorrows Spain vs Portugal game. Should be a good one!

That backline was decimated. Glen Johnson is shite. Brutal touches all over the place.
Upson & Terry each cost a goal & A.Cole well he was mediocre. Injuries to Rio & Wes Brown really cost us. In fairness to the backs, Rooney couldn't finish to give them some breathing room. Calamity gets a D-

In fairness to the Germans, they were superb. Lightning accurate thru balls to Klose. Especially Neuer's precision scorcher

Well England is out, had some bad luck with the goal not counted and cross bar both by Lampard, however I think in all 4 of their games they did not show enough drive and pace to do well. The German team is also only getting stronger, they should give their next opponent a great match.
