Immo III (2001+ I believe) clusters are linked the the CCM if I remember correctly. Good luck getting the SKC now that Paul is no longer at SCFC. He was the only person I knew of willing to get SKC's.

that may be difficult, maybe my understanding is wrong.

The ECU and CCM (central convenience module - in instrument cluster which has the immobiliser) may be linked together, but not sure. If this is the case you will need to do the cluster swap procedure, meaning going to the dealer to get SKC.....

feel free to correct the above mentioned BS since it's just a guess.

maybe this needs a seperate thread since it's not related to original thread.

ok i have 2 mk4 gti's sitting in my garage and they are both stranded here after a ecu swap...can anyone who has a vag-com and is willing to help out PLEASE pm me or give me a shout at 618-9846 just so i can borrow it for a couple minutes
