LOL. George cannot add camber from a simple alignment. We have a solid rear beam so you need camber shims which are installed behind your stub axle to give you camber. The IDF plates add the camber when you install them if you are going that route so you don't need additional shims.

I think they add -2.5 degrees of camber. If you don't want the extra drop, you can get SPC camber shims in varying sizes as well. For the front, you can either do camber plates at the top, again I think SPC makes a kit or you can do what I did on my mk4 and use the ingalls lower camber plates. They mount under the ball joint and essentially they extend the control arm. I think they add about -2 degrees in the front.
okay thanks martin, tracy said i can also take it to george for an an alignment and he can add some camber?

Those wheels... Nuts...... How on earth did you even get them here? Lol. The VW City Golvette
You need to grind like 5-10mm off the rear spacers.

they are 8.5 front, and 9.5 rear. hmm yeah that might be a good idea pat. im not very good on visualizing what tire sizes would look like/fit though.

If you wanna go low danny, I say go 195/45 in the front and 215/40 in the back. overall the size will be minimally different but the stretch will allow you to go much lower!

I like the current stretch, hard to say if 215 would look like too much stretch or not. how wide are the wheels?
