Re: Cptnslw
Volks would bench better suited as a winter wheel. Or just the stock ones

Re: Cptnslw
I guess I could put the Volk's on winter duty...
But that would be blasphemous!

Yeah Don, less spokey for winter - imagine all the snow and ice getting build up in all them spokes? You might as well run 18 inch steeliesLast edited by Spooling_turbos; 05-28-2014, 11:23 AM.

Yeah, its a bit crooked at the moment because of fitment, but im hoping the heat will help it expand so it can be straightened out (tips are not welded but bolted)

Re: Cptnslw
Thanks to my crew at Concept1, the turbo-back exhaust and intake are now installed! I got too busy with my new condo so I got them to do the dirty work.
Complete with the APR Stage 2 tune, the results: outstanding. I'll see if I can get a video of a cold start.
I'm quite curious how much gains I get.

Apparently, it's the first 42DD setup they've installed and sounds great.Last edited by flipstah; 05-16-2014, 06:11 PM.

Re: Cptnslw

In order to do an improvement right, you need a benchmark. In comes the dyno. Thanks Sunny from Airboy Tuning (http://www.airboytuning.com/)!

I wonder how many HP the Thule box adds haha!

The results of stock tune vs. APR Stage 1 93Oct tune on Husky 94 Octane.
Results are WHP so CHP is +20%?
Dyno results confirm that third gear is the party gear. BORING.
Time for Stage 2. Stay tuned.
