Any comment on whether to go blue or stick with red decals? I'm actually contemplating on whether to do the stud conversion... It's looking mighty clean with the bolts.

Either red and blue will look great, red matches the tails while blue matches the body. Just stay with your wheels bolts, no point of changing. There should be a reason why the German geniuses prefer bolts over nuts.

Here in my opinion is exactly why going with coils over springs is the way to go. Although the car looks great, you are stuck with what you have. Another 1/2" to 1" lower and a ittle camber and the car would sit so great!

I don't know if I could stand going lower than this. I drove around downtown and man, those manholes scare me. The ride is firm but not bone-jarring. It also doesn't feel like I'm on a carriage haha.

This one is just a reminder for myself. Through VAG-COM, you can activate the following (just have to figure out how):

Emergency braking

Puddle lights

Took a quick cell phone pic of my puddle lights after installing the last door:

Also coded my car so that the DRL LED's stay full bright with running lights enabled. Woot!:thumbup:

I'm planning for a turboback exhaust and interior stuff but not till 2014. I'm possibly going to Asia this year so I'm saving up moolah.

No, I didn't. Judging by the Vortex thread that I read on, the stock R shocks can handle a lower geometry and only had higher springs due to North American laws or something like that.

The H&R sport springs are made to work with the stock struts. My buddy Eddy has had them on his R for a couple months now and it rides great.
