I guess I'll live with the chatter, I'll just dyno mat the tranny case..... Because the car is faster according to my stopwatch... However still not happy with the torque steer... Like the steering wheel will turn 45* in first gear if i let go of the wheel...... It used to only be 15* at max under the same circumstances....
I had a single mass put in my Golf TDI too...chatter at idle is normal...as for the torque steer...I don't know too many zippy front wheel drive cars without LSD that don't have torque steer.
Chatter = Common on a single mass... I got that all the time with my CM 6 puck with 22lb single mass on the B5. I'm guessing his single mass is a big steel bastard?
No it's not normal torque steer, I use to show off to my buddies how my car doesn't have torque steer at all, now after it came back from tunedub there's massive torque steer.... Also there's a faint amount of chatter sound below 2000rpm... Sound goes away when the clutch is all the way in, otherwise there's a chattering sound. Help me out guys! Calling George tmr morning
Got my jetta back, George did a single mass fly conversion kit on it although I didn't ask for it... However there's massive torque steering in the car now, what is going on?
What kind of fog lights did you get? They look square
Piaa 2000s crystal yellow, function way over form this time need them to drive to BC and buyable kits just aren't good enough.
Btw Jetta's finally in a shop for once because the axle slapped into the transmission going 15kmh, it's all my fault this time, sadface, torque your nuts kids!
Stay tuned, she'll be back better than ever.
