Id say you'll be fine with a stock clutch. Vr clutches I believe are good up to 300tq.

Yeah, you'll be fine with that clutch....lots of modded TDI'S are set up with VR stock clutches because of the TQ they can handle...300ish ft lbs.

Hey MK4 6 speed gurus, I have a quick question about the stock clutch and pressure plate. With the 3.2 and cams I should be looking at around 280hp and 260lbft at the crank and will be running a LSD, how well will the stock clutch and pressure plate hold up to this kind of power? I'm thinking it should be alright since the clutch and stuff are the exact same as the r32 6 speed ones, and a decent number of r32 guys are running stock clutch on UM tunes putting 260hp ish.

Yeah thanks guys, its not like I have to have a girlfriend or anything just mehhh kinda unexpected.. I'll have an extra week to work on the engine swap this May now that I don't need to visit her lol, gotta get ready for Driven!

Sadly my first girlfriend decided it was best for her to leave me all of a sudden, so I needed some way to cheer myself up and I ordered 264/260 street cams from techtonics tuning for the 3.2 engine, also need to order a mishimoto radiator for the cobra when i daily it in May lol
