Sadly my first girlfriend decided it was best for her to leave me all of a sudden, so I needed some way to cheer myself up and I ordered 264/260 street cams from techtonics tuning for the 3.2 engine, also need to order a mishimoto radiator for the cobra when i daily it in May lol

Got her tinted today with 3M color stable film, 35% front and 5% rear. Also took the China plate and mirror from her sister.

This x1000. Its not how you got it, its how you act about it and make others believe you got it. Props to you Kuji for openly admitting the help you receive from your parents. Nothing wrong with that.

If parents are willing to help someone out, you can never really hate on it. If mine offered any financial help id take it if they were in a position to do so. I know dudes driving exotics in California that they didn't spend a dime on, spoiled and proud haha. As long as you're honest about it

Just my two cents. I don't hate on people with really nice cars regardless of how they got them(unless they stole them.....or bought it with dirty money at the expense of others but I digress) They are nice cars that I can look at. I don't know them personally so don't care one way or another. They may be rich snobby kids or they may be humble people. If they publicly are condescending or start driving recklessly and endangering others that is when I will start “hating”. I applaud you for all the work you put into your cars Kuji(and everyone else on the forums), all know way more than I ever will about cars. I just drive em and the usual oil change but I wouldn't bother hating on others for the simple fact that they got it easier. I have to be honest too. if I had a butt load of money I would be driving a Porsche myself.

I guess more specifically I'm targeting those FOB kids at SFU and UBC driving brand new sports cars with chrome wrap and neons. They did make any effort to get them, I at least do my own work, and other people work to get their car. I think it all comes down to how much effort one puts into their car for me.

Sweet, I just checked out some of his work and he's even done some mk4s, his work seems quite amazing for the price he asks, I think I'll bring my seats to him in the summer after I finish with all the work I have to do!

Yeah thanks, I do feel very lucky to have such supportive parents which is why i don't want to waste their money and try to do everything myself. I hate the kids who show off the cars which shops built for them with their parents money and brag about how great they are.

Nope, I'll be pretty honest here my parents pay for gas and insurance and maintenance. Also they do like cars and are very supportive in many ways such as buying me the tools and towing the Jetta from Vancouver. The vr6 gli was a first car as a gift although i paid a little, the bmw i bought it myself to flip, the cobra was a university gift, and the turbo gli is a replacement car also a birthday gift, but most mods, including the 3.2 I did have to pay by myself simply because the car doesn't need it. PS Being Chinese contributes to this as well hence the title...

Cool Ill ask him, it's probably cheaper in van anyways
