The journey will continue, our GL550's rear airbags blew before even hooking up a trailer to it in Vancouver so the Jetta will remain waiting to go home for two more weeks, meanwhile here is the successor of her. This new lady will never be able to replace her older sister but will definitely take on some of her genes. She'll take me and my friends onto a new yet nostalgic journey. This summer will be exciting.

HAHA! Yeah we both destroyed our VR6s while visiting our girlfriends in Vancouver!

Thanks for all the love guys, my mom and I are uhauling the jetta back from Vancouver this weekend so at least she can rest in peace at home, meanwhile I'm looking for a super clean mk4 GLI 1.8T preferably or I will just get a CC 3.6 for now

Another classic example of great German engineering keeping people safe. Cars are replaceable, lives are not. Glad you both are ok. Sh!tty luck with the car, but that just means you get to dress up another car. Its a labour of love. Hope you at least get a decent settlement for all your troubles!

Waiting on the police report still but not sure how all the process with police report and insurance claims work in BC, does anyone have experience with The BC system? The jetta will come back to Calgary without a question, and I have my eyes set on a nice vr6 already.

    Ouch!

At least your airbags went off though... glad nobody was seriously hurt too.

I'd look into freight for shipping.

You'll have a hard time claiming parts/labour through insurance unless your policy was set up for an agreed value.

Sorry to hear man! All that work, all that matters is that no one was hurt. Nail that guy to the wall though for running a red.
