Is this what wrapping the tip means(the tip on the frame)? Or my actual tip?

The rear end panel has been cut yesterday, the pink lines indicate where will be cut next.

It'll probably be more than enough actually

Meanwhile the workers have been making progress on the Jetta, frame is getting pulled slowly and the most important part arrived, the totally bill also came to around 11k so I have to pay some money out of my own but the car will get fixed

Also ditching my little blue smurf ass for a bigger blacker one!!!

Hmm thanks for the advice guys, I don't know if I want to change the springs since the stiffer spring will induce more understeer, and I don't want to use the same rate shorter spring for obvious reasons. Are there ways to make the front wheel gap look just a little smaller like 5mm ish other than eating lots of McDonald's?

find out what your spring rate is and call swift for shorter springs (http://www.swiftsprings.net/) - like Sean said though you're going to be near the bottom range of shock travel as it currently sits going much lower may affect ride comfort. There is a reason Bilstein dont go as low as others

Don't remove the locking perch, especially if you are right at the bottom of the threads. Terrible idea.
I don't think that removing the helper springs itself is what will destroy the shocks, the ride height itself is what typically destroys them, being too close to the end of the range.
Raise the strut tower in the engine bay?

    Re: From China with Love

Got notice from the shop saying my car will be back in two weeks, meanwhile in Europe I'm getting some ideas on how to change the car a little. I want to go a little lower in the front but the coilovers are maxed out to the last thread, how can I go lower? I already have camber plates that dropped it slightly. Should I remove the lock perch that'll give me around 5mm more low but is it safe to do so? Or should I remove my helper spring? Or will that destroy my shocks?

Just watched your dash-cam vid... sucks man!

Good to see you’ve got someone you know/trust handling the car though. Looking forward to see what kind of lemonaid you make with this

Since the car is at my good friend's shop he can keep me updated with the repair everyday. They took apart the rear today, supposably they will drill out the rear end panel and weld in a new one, quarter panel will be reformed by hand and unibody will be straightened on the rack.
