    Re: Non bacon car

Last photo with the camo and wheels on.... More pains in my ass.

Was on the way to edmonton for work and one of the valve stems leaked on the highway past olds , went flat and the tire split apart.

Got the wheel changed on the side of the highway...... turns out the previous owner decided to leave me with a spare wheel with a hole in it. Luckily my lovely mom drove out my oem set. and i continued on 4 hours later.

Since the car is not ready for leavenworth, ill be leaving it here , and had a chance to remove the vinyl this weekend. Needs a polish.

I feel like black on black, despite being kind of (ultra) played out, would look so baller.

Good lord bob.... that looks sweet. Never really thought about painting callipers. or even doing bigger brakes. (i need go fast parts first)

Lowered the car last night, it got late so i want able to fix the small reverse rake going on, so i will do that on the weekend. either lowering the fronts if i can, or raising the rear just a tad. Tires are being swapped today so that the wheels face the proper direction. Im off to Edmonton tomorrow for work, so i hope to hit up that ice-cream meet if i can take a break.

23 ftg Up front, rears sit just a tad lower.

The bum will look awesome once get some spacers.

For some reason everything goes together really well, the camo with the black wheels just looks bad ass!

A little tire shine on their and you will be all set!
Thanks ben! i think it will look even better once the wheels have better fitment and the car is lower.

The black car will go great with any colour really, so I would say some brighter mid-tone colour to contrast with the car.

    That's my opinion at least.
I think i may try white to see how it looks. i agree, the black takes away from the design of the wheel.

Agree with this all the way. Sand blasting may pit the wheel surface, unless you use a soft enough media, but then it may not strip away the powder coat. Give a shop like Calgary Powder Coat a call. They can chemically strip the powder coat off. Just not sure for how much. I know the stripping is usually included in their per wheel powder coat price, so it might not be that bad for just the stripping alone.

yeah i think the only way i would go to a silver look is if they came out machined after sandblasting. These wheels would take forever to polish.

If i just get the wheels sandblasted... will it just be machined underneath? or would it be all scuffed up?
