Strange things happen to your spares over time. Mine was full of methyl hydrate and batteries!!

I just checked my spare tire too and it appears to have transformed into some type of cylindrical metallic object...anybody know if it is still ok to use??

at least you can fill up your tires. lol

I also checked my spare as part of my pre trip car prep, lo and behold it was 12lbs low. filled it up, hopefully i won't need it.

Sucks but a good reminder to all to go check your spare tires before going on a trip this summer.

Planning to rewrap with something new? Or going ahead with the all black look?

Haven't decided what to do yet. I'll either sell them if someone is interested in them, or strip/powdercoat. I'm not planning anything wrap wise.
