    Re: Non bacon car

So water-cooled industries has done it again..... and let me just say that i have probably brought this on to myself by choosing this company again.....

Took the tires to chad/jim at Kal tire on friday for mount/balance/alignment. None of this was accomplished. Whoever WCI got to powder coat the wheels did such a bad job that it ran down into the valve stems which caused the stems to leak. Picked them up from Kal tire that night and brought them home exploring my options. i ended up cleaning out the valve stem locations with a rotary tool and sanded away the powder coat so that there would be a better fit.

I brought the wheels back to al tire today, and they were able to get a seal! hurray. Picked them up and brought them home to put them on.... BUT, my bad luck doesn't end here.

Kal tire ended up putting the tires on backwards, even though i specifically told the guys that the wheels were directional.... Im hoping they will fix that issue free of charge Wednesday when i take the car in for an alignment.

So the wheels are on backwards for now. Will be lowering it more tomorrow night. and ill be looking at getting some spacers for the fronts, and maybe even the rears.

    More towards the satin side.

Got rid of the rotiforms yesterday, then went straight to pick up the new wheels. Jammed them into the audi.... times i wish i had a wagon....

Stepping down into 18's and less aggressive fitment,

    Front: 19x10 et35 to 18x8.5 et42.
    Rear: 19x10 et35 to 18x9.5 et40.

Will be looking at spacers to dial everything in once i get the tires on tomorrow. Black wheels were definitely not my first choice and a colour change will most likely happen in the future, but i love how these wheels look.
