On topic: I picked up new exhaust gaskets from mercedes today... Headers should be here in a day or so. From what agency said, they were made to order. Which is kind of cool.

How does that make it cool? It means that their business model only accounts for a limit amount of stock on the shelves and has nothing to do with making it custom or better or anything to that effect. When you order they will throw parts on a jig and just weld it together, and the only difference will be that if they were busy it would take longer for you to get your parts..

Because it hasn't been sitting around gathering dust for years. They are hand made too.

Winter tires are ready! Nokkian Hakka 7 studded on 710's (Big thanks to Curtis for hooking me up with these, Kal Tire is still the sole retailer of nokian!). Also did K&N drop in filters... My butt dyno says they have added low end torque.



Also looking into akrapovic axleback exhaust... We shall see!

Wait till you get the headers, trust me, it makes it loud enough. Axle back will put you in the same class as 17th Ave Harley Davidson.

Apparently due to the design the stock AMG mufflers act as megaphones. From what other C63 owners say, aftermarket exhausts tend to calm the beast. The akrapovic exhaust eliminates rasp/high notes in a stock setup, it's very deep any bassy. We have a customer with Meistershaft GT, and it's quite nice too.

Well... Did a bit of sprucing up today.

Put rubber Mercedes matts in, put my emergency winter kit in the trunk, my emergency air pump and my snow brush. Finally got my AMG Private Lounge badges all the way from Affalterbach!

Also ordered Akrapovic axleback exhaust, I spoil the AMG way too much.

I promised myself no more mods until summer... Then HRE rims, CF diffuser and a Quaife LSD.

If your car is the performance pack(p31) it already has an LSD
