Yeah, pretty much. It was on sale about 2 months ago but I missed it.

Started to insulate my garage finally 3/4 way done the walls

Right on. I have to finish mudding the drywall, but i think i'll wait until spring.

pink insulation wont burn since it is glass fiber. it will melt if things get good and hot. its the cellulose stuff that is more an issue for an in wall fire,

Any fire started outside the wall wouldn't matter, fires inside the wall are a whole other matter.

My garage isnt attached And like Stefan said if it burns done to the insulation the important stuff is gone anyways.

by the time the fire gets to the insulation, all the important stuff is toast anyways

I still say Ruxal or nothing, even more so in a garage. Since it is fire and mold resistant it goes great in garages. Sure it costs more but it also installs a lot easier in my opinion.

Just went with regular pink from Totem. No reason, was just what they had.

I'm gonna go with the pink stuff also just was wondering if you had a preference on type ..

Another good way to do it is cut some thin strips of poly and tack them up to hold the insulation.
