    Re: twopointslow

a little bit of an update I guess. Today I got a europlate from natty. gonna order a custom one sometime later, but this one looks good for now

Gonna be picking up evans sawblade rims on friday. Then after that, gonna get some coilovers. I keep saying I want to get my windows tinted, but who knows when that'll get done. Also, I'm still looking for some GTI tail lights, as well as a badged grille. I went to pick and pull today and didn't see a single mk4 golf. wah wah.

Solowerks handle quite well and is like $500, however if you go rallying and autocross in them they will explode...
It's a great setup for street honestly just not meant for anything other than streets

    Coils before wheels every time.
I have personally never heard of that brand of coilover but there is nothing wrong with giving them a shot. You can get even cheaper ones from raceland which are decent quality too.

I should say, i dont want to go crazy low. also, how are coils in the winter? do you have to switch them back to stock suspension or...?

Yes. However, I think they'd only look good if i got coils as well. I do plan on getting some coils, but i think it would be awhile before i could afford them lol.

Huffs are nice but I don't think you won't find a set with rubber for $500.

These would be good, maybe you can get the guy to go down a bit on them.

Alright, so I finally sold the tsw's. with the money I got from them, im going to put them towards some new rims that hopefully fit LOL! anyone know of any good looking rims that aren't too expensive? I don't want to end up spending more than $800 for a set of rims and tires. I only got $500 saved right now lmao. I was thinking about getting some huffys and the conversion kit, but again, just looking for some ideas.

i think i fixed it. took off the plastic cover and noticed that the hose connecting to the pump was off so i just reconnected it and it didnt make the high powered vacuum noise when i started it up again.
