    Already update time!!!!

Well I don't this think I can get rid of this POS lol. So I will be keeping it I think, still not official, but it puts a smile on my face every time I look at it and/or drive it. And that's the only reassurance I need to have to keep it. So for sure ie rods, bearings and rings. But most likely a set of je or cp piston's at a 9.25:1 or 9.5:1 compression. And likely a gt3071r, gtx3071r or gtx2867r.

    Some pictas

Front is so high without the weight of the motor

Yeah it doesn't look like it. It's not going back in the car anyways. And I'm more just including it in the sale of my parts to complete it, but i probably wouldn't run it since it already burnt oil before

Anyways, with friends leaving for university the car hasn't gotten much attention. Got all the go fast parts out and tranny/clutch off.

Yeah you bet. Took me 3 hours or so, taking it easy. Plus whatever it took to take the pan off

Yeah but it's broken and no longer really a cylinder (the actual piston)

    Anyways, motor is out.

New pistons are cleaning up nicely

The cylinder walls are actually intact??

Cylinders (pistons) usually cant rotate inside other cylinders (cylinder walls) without damaging one and/or the other.

PS Derek can have the crank from my 2.0 if you want to go stroker route? That's what i was saving it up for but plans changed

I think everyone's face was probably more like the second picture.

It's hard to tell. But the piston is sideways, but it's just because nothing is holding it in place. Cylinder walls are all intact. There's come light scoring on the walls and on the crankshaft...perfect motor for a stroker build *cough* Derek *cough*

hmm, did you ever run any logs prior to this? It sucks that you busted a piston/rod but stuff happens, I say fix it up and try again.
