    Internals and moar boost!

Sucks dude but I can't wait to see if the piston twisted. That's a new one for me.

Yeah not fun. Stuff wouldn't have flown into anyone, because it was more or less contained within the pan. And Martin is right, air filter or not this would've happened regardless

I don't think this was caused by the lack of air filter lol

Damn that's crazy. Lucky that stuff didn't fly into me. How's the head? I say rebuild it with stronger internals and maybe get an airfilter..

Alrighty, this is what I saw when I took out my pan

Looks like the bottom end is fine....lol.

I think I may have also found a chunk of piston, kinda hard to tell. It looks to me like the piston may have actually twisted in the combustion camber, breaking into the water passages.

Oh right. I would personally vote for returning to stock for resellability, sell it, then get a different car. Start from a reliable platform if you need a DD, or get two cars, a daily and a project car that can afford to be down. From talking to you you seem like the type who likes/craves/needs change.

The car is so nice that I would say rebuild. Seeing as you just did that, i'm surprised you're not ripping your hair out. I know you will do a rebuild properly and will fall in love with the car again. Even if you pick up something different, i'm sure it will be awesome either way.

I'm still surprised you were able to fit your low car on a uhaul with their middle guard rails lol. The mini just cleared it and its not even lowered

As many of you know my at grenaded on the way to autounion. Well she is back in town finally thanks to Derek (tirerub) and Mario. Picked up a small block with 105k on it, thanks to das auto haus for that and for letting me store my car there.

Now taking votes on whether you think I should throw some rods in it and slap a bigger turbo on it or return to stock, part car out and sell.

Everything back together. Needs more trimming on the bumper. Car seems crazy low. Lip scrapes on everything

    Thank you gentlemen.

So far it's pretty good. I haven't really gotten a true feel for it. But 14 is quite fun and 10 psi is similar to ko3s
