    Re: Watch Aficionados?

I made my first trip to the new Holt Renfrew on the weekend and took a look at the watch counter, not a lot of good brands but some ok, and they do have Bell & Ross including a few limited edition models but I decided against seeing the price

I also went to Birks downtown and they had a few Longines in stock but not the Legend Diver.

Congrats on the watch looks good, but obviously very Monaco influenced

thanks, I love it. it's something I would never buy for myself which makes it the perfect gift. All my current watches have stainless steel straps too, so its nice to have one with a leather strap - pure class!

I'm not usually a big Tissot fan... but that watch is an A in my books. Congrats - very nice!

I think you could score one around 2K with some smart shopping.........hmmm.

See this is why I have not been paying attention to watches, now I want one!

Was mentioned to me at the meet last night that this thread has died a bit so was flipping through a magazine yesterday and few items that caught my eye.

Longines Legend Diver, fairly classic elegant style, not too bad price at around $2-3k.

Also Tag Heuer is re-releasing its Silverstone model in a limited edition run (1,500 Brown, 1,500 Blue) but probably pushing $7K.

That Zenith is pretty nuts but a bit ugly I think. Not sure what to make of that Carbon B&R, would have to see it in person but not really sure I like it that much.

Really wish I could swing a Bamford & Sons modded Rolex myself, they even mod Monaco's now too!
